Introduction | During 2011 I served as president of the Grayson Country Quilters and did a lot of sewing that year. In 2010 was was called as a "history scout" for the Hole-in-the-Rock youth treks. This was an amazing detective search. I love San Juan County history and worked as managing editor of Blue Mountain Shadows for 20 years. I was raised on a dry farm in SE Idaho. Graduated from Ririe High 1960, Ricks College 1962, BYU 1964, and finally earned a Masters in Ed. Tech. in 2002 from USU. Married Steve Wilcox in 1967. Had seven cute sons and 1 beautiful daughter. Taught English and Journalism at San Juan High in Blanding, 15 years --then taught 7 years on-line for Utah's Electronic High school Nov. of 2007 - April 22, 2009 we served an 18 month LDS mission in Ganado, Az. We have 26 grandchildren, 12 girls and 14 boys. They are the most smart and amazing children and they have wonderful parents. |
