| Introduction | I'm a 35 year old, life long Philadelphia Phillies fan! I was born and raised in the NE suburbs of Philadelphia and moved to northern Virginia in 1999. I have since August 2010 returned home to Bucks County, PA where I can see the Phillies play ALL THE TIME! I have a wonderful wife, awesome son, and two great step-daughters! My wife is awesome; she let me have a MAN CAVE in our new home! I have all ways loved baseball, and collected baseball cards since childhood. When I was in my early teens, my parents had a boat that they kept docked in Ocean City, NJ - a stone's thrown to Atlantic City. During this period, I started attending the numerous sports collectible shows that were in Atlantic City, focusing on signed baseballs. As I got older, I started to show an interest in vintage baseballs, with one catch: the balls had to be in their own, original box. I started off collecting slowly, but have since picked-up the pace, averaging 2 - 3 new baseballs a month. |
