It was started in 1998 by Dr Pons and has helped restore sight to thousands of blind people regardless of their ability to pay for operations. Often patients in rural areas are unaware that their blindness can be cured, Vula Swaziland employs a dedicated cataract case finder who trawls the country looking for blind people. |
