Introduction	I am a Clinical-Community Psychologist and Professor of Psychology at the University of Connecticut. I have dedicated my career to preventing the spread of HIV and improving the health of people living with HIV/AIDS. My research program is focused in the southeastern United States and South Africa. I am also the Editor of AIDS and Behavior, a leading social and behavioral science peer-reviewed journal. Although this is my sixth book, Denying AIDS is my first book written for a general audience. All of the royalties from Denying AIDS are donated to purchase HIV treatments in Africa.
