Location Paradise, PA
Introduction Raised in her mother's "in-home" fabric and quilt store, Rachel Stoltzfus has more than 40 years of experience in crafting, cutting, choosing colors, and piecing together different shapes, patterns, shades, styles, and materials. After starting her own home, Rachel continued in her mother's footsteps as she sewed aprons for a local restaurant and made miniature quilts and mug mats for local quilt stores. She then worked in the craft department of a hardware store for 7 years. Realizing that she would not be happy serving only herself, she determined to start her own business where she could relate with people, encourage people's talents and creativity, and be an example of Christ while doing what she likes to do best. Rachel's choice of an old farmhouse seems to have met her dream of providing an atmosphere that is not commercial but comfortable and personal. At Farmhouse Memories you can learn how to preserve your own memories while browsing through the rooms of paper, embellishments, adhesives, tools, stamps, ribbon, fabric, and notions. You can also use the cropping room on the second story, or attend a class on cardmaking, quilting, tea bag folding, etc.
