| Introduction | Envius Couture is a lifestyle clothing company, and also the brainchild of owner Durran Whaley. A true artist at heart who prides himself in being fashion forward, and has a known reputation of being "different". Taking these unique characteristics of Mr. Whaley and fusing them with the business savvy of current company president Jason Bowen and there you have the true gentic build up of Envius Couture. Envius design concepts not only take inspiration from Durran's lifestyle and involvement in Maryland/D.C. street culture, but also has a heavy influence from skateboarding, punk, and hip-hop music. The designs are reminiscent of 1980-90s B-Boy culture which embodied brightly worded graphic t-shirts, exclusive team hats and limited edition footwear, paying homage to the advent of “street wear” at the end of the millennium. |
