| Introduction | Quinn is an award-winning filmmaker best known for her documentary short, ‘Standing Still’, a touching piece about her relationship with four elderly women from Vancouver Island. She came to documentary filmmaking by way of performance and video art which led to site-specific film projections shown within the context of architecture. Regardless of the medium, her work has always been grounded in the political but her keen wit and satiric sensibility elevate it to a new and refreshing plane. |
