Introduction	This is me, on an early Spring day in an English garden.
Interests	Staying sane, listening to Ira Glass, hunting down a good story, finding words, picking brains, keeping in touch with what's good
Favorite movies	Among the more recent ones are: The Edge of Heaven, Happy Go Lucky, Gegen die Wand and then there are all time favorites like Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Stroszek, What's Eating Gilbert Grape...
Favorite music	It so depends on the mood. I love Chopin Mazurkas when I am reading, Dizzie when I am stuck in the kitchen, and Haydn really any time of the day. I tend to listen to Bach in the Fall and Schubert's Piano Sonatas when I am down. By the way I don't ever listen to Ravel during sex.
Favorite books	Let's do favorite authors: JC Oates, Margaret Atwood, Toni Morrison, Edith Wharton..., however, I really liked Gregory Roberts' odyssey "Shantaram" - the guy is crazy, and if you like that then try Rohinton Mistry.
