Introduction	My name is Catrice Wulf. I am a 25 year old registered nurse serving with Mercy Ships. I dreamed of going to Africa as a young girl, and from the moment I first heard of Mercy Ships and their mission and heart for the forgotten poor of Africa, I knew that one day I would join them. I joined Mercy Ships in January of 2013, and after 5 weeks of training, I flew to Africa to join the crew of the Africa Mercy. Follow me now as I fulfill my dream of serving as a nurse with Mercy Ships, living and working on a floating hospital called the Africa Mercy, bringing much needed medical care to some of the poorest nations in West Africa. Following the 2,000 year old model of Jesus we bring hope and healing to the world's forgotten poor. I currently work as a nurse in the hospital, caring for patients before and after surgery. Currently the ship is docked in Pointe-Noire, Congo, Africa, and the surgeries have begun. I cannot wait to see the miracles that are going to take place here.
