Introduction	I’m Abila Joseph, founder of Gift of the Present. This blog is an extension of my creative expression — a space to put into words the ideas, inspirations and stories that often stay behind the things I create. Some of these stories will be about gifting — how an idea came about, what inspired a particular curation, a person I met, a place I discovered, a craft that stayed with me, or a little detail that sparked something bigger. But it isn’t only about gifting. It’s also about the journey behind it — creativity, work, life, aspirations, emotions, struggles, motherhood, finding balance, getting things wrong, starting again, and learning along the way. There will be stories, lessons, observations and perhaps a few things I’m still figuring out. Because somewhere between building a business and building a life, I’ve realised that the two are never really separate. So consider this a window into my world — the ideas I create, the lessons I collect, the moments that move me, and the journey in between.
