Introduction	This blog is a forum on faith, culture, ideas, and whatever else I wish to discuss. I am an Evangelical Protestant living in Rome, Georgia. Theologically, I am what is generally called a confessional Lutheran or an Evangelical Catholic. For some complicated reasons, however, I a member and regular attender at a Baptist congregation, which has generously and lovingly welcomed me. Culturally and politically I am a conservative, though not necessarily a Republican. I might be best described as a paleoconservative with a libertarian streak.
