About me

Introduction	I'm aspiring to be a licensed local pastor in the United Methodist church. For the last 15ish years, I could feel the calling of God in my life, directing me towards ministry. Despite all of my efforts to remain on my own course, I can still feel God pulling me to something different than my corporate career. I have been married to my spouse (and high school sweetheart), who I lovingly refer to as Husband in this blog, for 13 years. We have a 5 year old daughter, Amelia Pond, who challenges us daily and brings joy and fun to our lives. When I'm not at work, church, or running my daughter to various activities, I tend to be asleep. All kidding aside, when I do get moments of my own, I love karaoke and having deep conversations with friends over a cup of coffee. I am passionate about social justice, sharing the love of God with others, and being a positive force for change for those around me. I started this blog as a way to getting my feet wet in telling my story and preaching. I promise to not make the topics too heavy or deep, and to admit I have a lot of growing and learning to do. I invite you to join me on this journey of self-discovery and storytelling.
