| Introduction | I am a very passionate Early Years Educator and Children's Services Tutor who is a strong believer in the importance of play based learning, open ended play and reconnecting children with nature. I currently coordinate the early learning centre at Coonara Community House and train certificate III and Diploma of Children's services students in Upper Ferntree Gully, Victoria. In 2012 I was a top 5 finalist in the HESTA Early Childhood Education & Care Awards, part of a team who trained indigenous early years professionals gain their cert 3 and Diploma of Children's Services in Alice Springs and met Education Minister Peter Garrett to discuss DEEWR RPL initiative.
