This Baltimore-bred MC is a lyricist first and foremost, and his ability to manipulate syllables into meaningful, imaginative, powerful songs gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “having facility with words” Lyrical ability will only get one so far, however. Articulate’s skill set reaches far beyond wordplay. More than just a rapper, he is a true artist with knowledge of musicianship as well as the ins and outs of the technical side of recording. Artic uses this combination of skills to write, produce, arrange, and perform songs that break barriers conceptually and musically. His music strays away from typical commercial rap conventions, but still has a universal appeal. You have never heard Hip-Hop like this before. |
