| Introduction | Hello everyone! My name is Amanda Woldhuis and I am currently living in Mountain View, California. I am originally from southern California, but after moving up north to go to college I fell in love and decided to stay up here. I am currently teaching 5th graders in San Jose. Before this year I taught third grade for two years. I received my bachelor’s degree and teaching credential from Chico State University in 2008 and have been working at the same school for the last three years in San Jose. “Get over the idea that only children should spend their time in study. Be a student so long as you still have something to learn, and this will mean all your life”. ~Henry L.
