| Introduction | Dr. A. Punitha Mary has been working as Assistant Professor at St. Xavier’s College of Education (Autonomous), Palayamkottai since 2005. At present she is the Dean & IQAC Coordinator of the college. She holds M,Sc., and M.Phil., in Physics, M.Ed and M.Phil in Education, M.Sc (Psychology) , NET ( Education) and Ph.D in Education. Her areas of interests are Educational Psychology and Educational Research. She had authored a chapter in the Edited Book ‘Fundamentals on Educational Research’ published by St. Xavier’s College of Education (Autonomous), Palayamkottai. She had guided more than 30 M.Ed., Scholars and six M.Phil., Scholars. She is the approved research supervisor of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai and at present, four scholars are registered Ph.D under her guidance. She had organised two UGC sponsored National Seminars and published more than ten articles in National Journals. She is the member of Editorial Board of the Quarterly journal ‘Research and Reflections on Education’ (UGC-CARE Journal) published by St. Xavier’s College of Education (Autonomous), Palayamkottai. |
