Introduction	The Helen Society was created in October 2008 by Shauna and Stephanie as they dined on delicious homemade bierocks. They shared a mutual love of Mary Downing Hahn, and they concluded that if they made bierocks together so well, surely they could form a book club as well. And thus the Helen Society was born.
