Introduction	I am an avid reader. As I have studied at the university I have discovered that I love a lot of different types of literature but I am quite partial to the writings of Jumpha Lahiri as well as Zora Neale Hurston and Willa Cather. These three women have often inspired me in my own writing and research. I have the inclination to write poetry as often as I am inspired. I love to cook when I can. I have found however that it is often hard to cook the dishes that I would like to based on my limited income and the limited ingredients available to me. I do however make do with the ingredients that I do have. Often times we find ourselves improvising and changing recipes. I would love to someday be able to afford all the ingredients I need as well as someday attend a culinary school.
