I am a lifelong New Jersey resident, who has lived and worked in various parts of this great state, as well as a professional journalist with a strong background in reporting on health and food. (Celiac disease and gluten-free foods are among my favorite topics). I hold a BA in communications and an MA in writing. I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 1998 and have been a gluten-free advocate ever since. I'm also a wife and mother in an otherwise non-celiac household. Over the years, I have been often asked for advice, mostly from newly-diagnosed celiacs and their families.
