Introduction I (George) am 64 years young and thanking God for each day as a gift. A little over five years ago I was in the cardiac intensive care unit diagnosed with advanced end stage idiopathic cardio-myopathy. Upon release my wife Nancy was advised that my condition was critical and there was no hope for recovery. She was told to watch for "sudden heart death". Tests showed my heart was severely damaged and enlarged. Upon my return home my wife and I said our tearful goodbyes and vowed to embrace each day and each other as a gift from God to be cherished! Although my condition was fatal, with God nothing is impossible! What doctors could not do Jesus did. On Dec. 26, 2007, 1 year after my death sentence, doctors discovered that I had "a new heart" and that it was "totally normal"! God gave me a new heart! There was no medical explanation. Jan 12,2009, I was dismissed as a patient by my cardiologist and told there was no need to come back. Halelleujah! That's why I say each day is a gift from God to be cherished and stewarded for Him. We are all are living on borrowed time, so let us "Redeem the time for the days are evil!"
