| Introduction | Diyu Anand is based in Sydney Australia and has enjoyed a life enriched by the colour, aroma and flavour of spices in her cooking, both professionally and at home. Diyu has spent many years cooking and entertaining in and around Sydney and the Northern Beaches for her large family and clients in her catering company Carte Blanche. Colour and design have also played a large role in Diyu's creative food presentation and cooking skills, having graduated from the International School of Colour and Design in Sydney in 2004 as a Designer and Colour Consultant. Diyu's background is also in Meditation, Vedic Science, Jyotish, Ayurveda and Vastu - Indian architecture. These Ancient sciences and Diyu's love of design come together in her spice preparation and recipe collection that highlight a unique, diverse approach to creating taste sensations with simple, fresh seasonal produce. The gift of creativity, artistic temperment and a keen eye for detail and design have been passed onto her children who also are pursuing careers in the fields of fine food, cooking, photography and music. |
