| Introduction | A few years ago I was lucky enough (friends might say crafty enough) to convince a publisher to pay myself and a friend to take the road-trip of a lifetime. Our mission was to travel across this land of ours visiting ballparks, sampling food and drink, absorbing local culture, and in essence, to comment on it all. I know, rough life, right?
