| Introduction | Native of the Visayan Islands. Born in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao, raised in Jagna, Bohol with family also located in Camiguin. Brought to the United States in 1979. Grew up in Michigan City, Indiana, Cheltenham, Maryland, Bremerton, Washington and San Diego, California where I currently reside. Have had many struggles in my past and fortunately also have had those, some that have come and gone and others that I have found again, who I believe care and foster my continuing growth. All life is about struggle I suppose and I aim to at least document some of these tribulations. I have adopted Escondido, CA as my current hometown. In that regard, I am dedicating as much time as I can in promoting and covering local merchants, events, gatherings, festivals and celebrations in the hopes of eventually exposing some of the flavor that makes the city unique. |
