Introduction | I was a musician in the church for a long time, a seeker even longer, and now I'm a minister. I think Michelangelo was right, "I am still learning." I have a wonderful, beautiful, creative partner who is the love of my life and we live in an old house on the main street of a small town with a merle chihuahua named Yoda and a giant Yorkie named Chewbacca. That's Nikita the Wonder Dog in the picture. She left us in November, 2015, but left us lots of memories and lots of wonder. |
Interests | God, music, theatre, movies |
Favorite Movies | There's too many. But near the top would be "Whale Music, " a Canadian classic, "Captain Blood, " a classic swashbuckler, "Jesus of Montreal, " another Canadian classic, "Life of Brian" - well, any Monty Python film, really - "Holy Grail" was excellent. Man, there's so many. |
Favorite Music | I'll listen to most things, though I prefer to listen to country and western music with the volume off. I love all periods of classical music, and I'm a big fan of Ralph Vaughan Williams. I really like Eric Whitacre right now, too. I listen to rock in the car and, since I play for our local musical theatre, I listen to Broadway, too. |
Favorite Books | I love mysteries. Really. But who has time to read for fun? There's Book Clubs and books about theology and ministry and blogs to read. I read what I can/ |
That can't really be a fish you're standing on, can it?
Yes, it is, and I'm doing it on porpoise.
