Introduction I'm a writer and editor born and raised in Tennessee. I'm a married mom of three boys: 14-year-old twins and a 7-year-old. Why "Seafood Chicken"? When I was three, my parents took me to the Gulf Coast to visit my grandparents. On the way to dinner our first night there, everyone talked so much about eating some good seafood that I decided I wanted some seafood, too. My wise mother knew I was too picky to eat fish, so she suggested I have some "seafood chicken," which I enjoyed without ever knowing it was just fried chicken. That was my first experience with successful parenting through propaganda.
