| Introduction | I have been teaching middle school band in the Monona Grove School District for 15 years. I currently teach 6th-grade and 8th-grade bands. In addition, I teach GIGs (Guided Instruction Groups) or "lessons" for students in grades 6-8 who play bassoon, oboe, tuba, and a variety of other instruments. After school in the fall I am a Field Assistant with the Universtiy of Wisconsin Marching Band. My husband Michael and I were both tuba players in the UW Marching Band when we were in college and we are now both Field Assistants. I also enjoy playing bassoon with the Madison Wind Ensemble and the Isthmus Woodwind Quintet. |
