| Introduction | How i first ended up in Thailand is probably a familiar story to many who have come before me. So who am i and how did i end up in Thailand the first time? I am and Australian male in my early 40’s at the time of writing. I first visited Thailand several years ago after the breakdown of my marriage. Thailand had always been a place i wanted to visit, so i booked a ticket and hotel online, packed a bag and headed of to Phuket for a week in the sun. I fell in love with Thailand instantly. Several years later and i now visit at least three times a year. After first sticking with trips to Phuket i started to explore more of this fantastic country, taking trips up to the North East provinces, Bangkok, Pattaya and more. I’ve learnt a lot along the way, seen so many great places, eaten some great and no so great food and most importantly made a lot of new friends. So i hope you enjoy this blog as i recall my past in Thailand and then continue onto my current journey’s and my hopeful permanent relocation in the coming year or two. |
