| Introduction | After seven years as a police officer and deputy sheriff I went back to college and graduated from BYU. The country was in a serious recession so no one was hiring in Law Enforcement. I took a temporary job with United Airlines and retired 26 years later. I then was asked by the Assistant Supt. of schools here in Auburn to apply as a substitute. I did and have been doing it for six years. I love it and should have done it years ago. High school kids are great. The kids and I can communicate one on one or in a group. |
