Introduction	I am a preacher of an earthy Gospel and a small-scale farmer. I serve a church that is deeply committed to a biblical faith that acknowledges God's ongoing call for human beings to be stewards of the earth and members of the larger land community. The church affirms my service on the Morgan County Decatur Farmers Market Board and church members have joined me in starting a community garden this year in a place of need in our city. I dig in the dirt to grow food and feed cattle. My personal vision is to connect God's people to God's land through God's church. The focus of my farm and church work is to cultivate and make fertile soil for growth. I have a beautiful wife who challenges and supports me every day to grow up a little more, two handsome sons, two lovely daughters in law, and three amazing grandsons. I am blessed.
