| Introduction | I believe that design is a wonderful job which must be done in freedom and with a clear mind. Design should be free from dogmatisms, preconceived ideas and academic influences. Intelligence should be used to skilfully orient the design in the right direction and manipulate influences so as to create new forms and direction which are exciting and unexpected. I believe that good design improves daily life at home and in the office which also enhances our leisure time. I firmly believe that Auckland needs to break free from the shackles that constrains this great city. I believe that Auckland needs to be adventurous, forward thinking and to grow a big pair of balls ! |
