What reason do you have to believe the earth is flat?
The earth appears flat from where I stand. The straight line I walk feels horizontal. However, when I coordinate with others who see and feel a flat earth from their stand point we miss-align. Its only when I can't explain what I measure that the truth comes to light. Because ... well science.
