| Introduction | I'm basically a big dork :) I love to make my friends and loved ones laugh by being my usual goofy self, even if it means embarrassing myself. Some of my friends say that I am a girl of one-thousand faces because whenever I take a picture, my face expressions continuously change. My parents would probably describe me as creative and I would probably agree. Ever since I was in grade school, I have had a unique passion for drawing and eventually painting. I love doing anything artsy and sincerely appreciate the craft and gift of creativity. I guess that's why I like writing so much. It allows me to escape into another world and use my imagination to concoct anything and everything I want. |
| Interests | I'm a pretty simple girl. I enjoy anything from relaxing with my friends and boyfriend and watching a movie to painting, shopping, snowboarding, doodling, going to concerts, playing basketball, listening to music, and of course sleeping! |
| Favorite movies | Wow, this is a toughie because there are so many. Some of my all-time favorites are Across the Universe (amazing to say the least!), The Titanic, Transformers, Live Free or Die Hard, The Sound of Music, The Departed, 300, 10 Things I Hate About You, Jaws (I'm completely obsessed with sharks in that I have yet to miss the Discovery channel's annual showing of Shark Week), Cruel Intentions, Pirates of the Caribbean, Atonement, and many others... |
| Favorite music | I like anything from Pop/Punk-Rock/Indy/Power-Pop to Rap/Hip-Hop. I enjoy big-time musicians such as the the old and all-time favorite classic, the Beatles, to Justin Timberlake and even small-town bands such as The Maine. |
| Favorite books | My favorite book from when I was a kid was Wayside Stories from Wayside School (I read this book all the time and never got sick of it). I also thoroughly enjoyed The Teacher from the Black Lagoon series a lot as well. My favorite book that I read in high school was none other than a classic William Shakespear novel, Romeo and Juliet (it was inspiring). Sad to say it, I'm not much of a reader at this point in my life, although I'm currently trying to get back into it with a few books reccomended by classmates from my prior English course (Lolita, All Quiet on the Western Front, and The Forbidden Daughter). I'll let you know how it goes... |
