| Introduction | I'm mad about color and texture, and I specialize in jewelry that is both fun and feminine. I'm inspired by many things--from a walk through the park to fashion magazines--and enjoy using my favorite materials (natural semi-precious stones, polymer clay, wood, & sterling silver) to bring these visions to reality in wearable form.
I opened my shop, the b-line, on etsy so I could share my love of pretty things with others. This blog followed as a natural extension of my business. I use it as a way to catalog my progress and my inspirations and to connect with friends and other independent artists. And this blog led to a new passion (photography) and shop, called Inspiration Board, in which I offer my photas. By day, I teach chemistry to college students. My evenings are spent dreaming up new ideas & designing jewelry. Otherwise, you're likely to find me hanging out with my hubby and our two dogs, Lola and Sita, photographing the world around me, and blogging. I love to cook and eat, shop, read, daydream, jog (slowly), watch movies, sing in the car, snuggle, and sleep. Have a lovely day! |
