| Introduction | My name is Jason Sechrest and I am, among many things, a pornographer. I produce, direct, review and write about performers of adult entertainment, straight and gay. I host various shows interviewing performers of the biz - all while attempting to break into the mainstream acting world. I am not a porn star, though I guess I have become a “star” of that genre over the past eight years. I began studying Kabbalah at 18, the same age I began my career. I’ve lived my life as an open book, telling all about the journey of my own sexual discovery, but I've neglected taking my readers on the discovery of my Soul. Why? It's scary. Talk about getting naked! But the more I study, the more I learn, the more it becomes my job to share. So my question: Is it possible? To be wading in superficiality and materialism but maintain a spiritual connection to something greater? After all, the darker the corner, the brighter the light that can illuminate it. And if challenges are truly gifts, I think I’d like to try. |
