Introduction I like to think ahead and develop myself, my tools and my provisions so that I can succeed, whatever may come.

I've learned to learn fast, particularly understanding how things work, seeing beneath the surface, and working out how to apply that understanding.

I bring a "systems" perspective to everything I do.

Currently, I'm pursuing education and certification in emergency management. Behind me are studies in: psychology, business management, computer systems, security and survival, electronics/radio technology, and music.

I can hardly resist exploring new topics and seeing how the new knowledge compares with and modifies my existing understanding of things.

Yup. I'm an Explorer: nature's wonders and human endeavor. No wonder I keep busy!

Radio wire is often used to make bird nests. What station do they listen to?

Well, naturally, each species would be drawn to its song, but all nature listens to the Emergency Alert System and a few other, non-mainstream, sources to assess and manage their risk.
