Introduction	An obituary writer for a family-owned newspaper in the Deep South, Katie is owned by a 120-lb. Great Dane named Ash. She spends her free time watching way too much t.v. and obsessing about all things pop-culture related.
Interests	I love to read, obsess over pop culture, watch tv and talk in song lyrics. I can also name any movie I've ever seen after watching 30 seconds or less.
Favorite Movies	Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, The Goonies, The Princess Bride, Notting Hill, O Brother Where Art Thou?, Pulp Fiction, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Hairspray, and many more.
Favorite Music	Anything by U2, The Beatles, No Doubt, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Hootie & the Blowfish (don't laugh), Dave Matthews Band, The Killers, Better Than Ezra
Favorite Books	too many to name. I will say that the ones I re-read most often are the Outlander saga books by Diana Gabaldon.
