About me

Introduction	This year finds me completing the Northern Tier of the United States. I'm headed back to Fargo, ND, where I left off in 2010, to bike to Bar Harbor, ME, over the course of 6 1/2 weeks. I'm still riding my TREK Pilot 5.1, but approximately 7000 miles of hard hill climbing have taken a heavy toll on the bike's shifting ability. Last summer I replaced the chain and rear cassette, and this year I've replaced the crank set which includes the bottom bracket and front chain rings. All this means that I practically have a new bike! So, I'm looking forward to this year's adventure. My bike has been shipped to Fargo, and I leave on July 5 to begin riding on July 7. . . . I covet your prayers for my safety and that of all the ladies in the group of 28. It's going to be a great trip, and I'm really looking forward to riding again with at least 13 friends that I've ridden with before.
