| Introduction | My name is Dona and I am a student at West Oahu and a teacher at a Head Start program. I actually started working for Head Start in July as an assistant teacher; unfortunately, the former teacher decided to leave the program and I officially took over as the teacher in November. I know what you're thinking - how the heck did that happen? Well, it's a long story so I won't get to it. All I can say is it has reaffirmed my commitment to the field of ECE. What can I say...I love my kids! |
| Interests | Well, when I find some free time (I rarely do) I watch my kids (lol, they're not really my kids but I watch them so often that I figure it's technically true to call them my kids). We go to the Ko'olina lagoons, ride ATVs at the Kahuku Motocross Park, work in the garden, and go to a nearby park. |
| Favorite movies | I have a lot of favorite movies. Let's just say that if I were trapped on an island for the rest of my life and I had a choice of five it would be Pride and Prejudice, When Harry Met Sally, Vicky Christina Barcelona, Super Troopers, and Equilibrium. |
| Favorite books | I prefer to read books that are almost brutally true to my life and funny at the same time - romantic fiction! I've enjoyed When In Rome, Little While Lies, and Romantic Fiction. |
