Introduction	Hey, my name is Luis Gonzales but you can call me Lou and i'm a c5-c6 quadriplegic. I was in a diving accident May 19th of 2010 that left me paralyzed from my chest down. If you can imagine this was, to say the least, kinda of a let down haha. I had nowhere to go so my sister told me no worries I could stay with her (she's a total G). My injury required a lot of care and if you can't do it yourself this falls on to your family or caretakers. NOONE wants to be a burden and even though my sister and her partner took care of me because they wanted to I hated being dependent so I made it my goal to become 100% independent (I'm such a boss). On the road to independence you tend to have a lot of free time so I want to share what I have learned not just with quads but anyone willing to get up and do something. Hopefully my posts and videos can help quads help themselves or give therapists ideas on how to help their patients.
