| Introduction | Hi, my name is Anne. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband. Our grown children and grandsons live nearby. I finished graduate school in 2012 with a degree in teaching mathematics. After a long season of research articles and academic writing, I was ready for a stronger connection to nature and more physical activity. I headed outdoors and started an organic vegetable garden. Now whenever I'm not tutoring math students, you'll find me out in the garden pulling weeds, harvesting fresh produce, making compost, or welcoming beneficial critters. |
