| Introduction | For as long as I can remember, creating has made me happy. Ah, the simple joys of dioramas and Spin Art! When I designed my first chuppah (the 'canopy' a couple gets married under during a Jewish wedding ceremony), I felt a sense of joy. It combined my love of art quilts, Jewish identity, and pure imagination. 18chuppahs is an exploration of all of the above, as well as the creative process--and a challenge to myself.
