Introduction | I am a 41 year old social worker and a "consumer of mental health services," or a "peer"; I am a singer, an idealistic realist, a woman who craves education, enjoys teaching others, and wants better for the world, particularly those who are disenfranchised or have been historically oppressed. I am an empath, an intuitive, an activist, a philosopher, a writer and a life-long learner; a trauma survivor, a self-labeled nerd, a good listener and a loyal and honest friend. |
Interests | the concerns of the disenfranchised (people who have a mental health diagnosis, LGBTQ individuals, people of color, the differently abled (or disabled); psychology, particularly abnormal |

If mud is dirt plus water, what is clay?
Clay is a cousin of dirt, but I think has the ability to be modeled, whereas dirt is not as pliable (it falls apart). They are both parts of "soil." Some places have more clay than dirt and vise versa.
