| Introduction | My name is Ben King, and I’ve learned that the hardest battles are fought within. After years in the military, I once believed that fighting was the ultimate test. But I now know that lowering your armor to love, and embrace peace is the true challenge. I’ve completed the Art of Peace practice three times—my first cycle here on this blog and the next two on our YouTube channel. This new cycle was inspired by a moving conversation between my father and my daughter about my brother’s death over 30 years ago. Hearing my father speak about his loss with grace and love showed me that overcoming deep pain requires more courage than any battlefield fight. Through Armor Down, I share weekly reflections based on the timeless teachings of the Art of Peace.
