Introduction	I was born a long time ago although it did not seem so at the time. I grew up in a very normal middle class environment in Michigan. Upon graduating from college my life exploded into a myriad of experiences like most others. In the early 1970's I moved to the Pacific Northwest and now live in Portland Oregon. I am a woodworker; a singer; a father; a husband; a brother; an uncle; a neighbor; a friend. Like others, I constantly attempt to understand how all of these roles relate to each other and how each is affected by the reality of our current universe. It is a delightful challenge because the stumbles, errors and mistakes in my life are complimented by just as many joys, thrills, adventures and achievements. It is not a simple life we lead.
