Introduction | Gina (a.k.a. Madcap Miss), born in 1972, Narcolepsy symptoms since age 5, diagnosed at age 32, in narco-medication free remission (yes, I said MEDICATION FREE R-E-M-I-S-S-I-O-N) since July 4, 2011. Best way to describe my life is to compare it to a Soap Opera......so many shifts in the plot that you have to watch daily to know what's going on (thank God for TiVo)....dress sizes fluctuate as frequently as the ratings……enemies become best friends…..your favorite character has reinvented herself so many times you can barely remember who she was in the beginning....... With all that said, just remember that Soap Operas are addictive and even if you can't watch them every day you love it when you have that rare day to indulge. On those days you find yourself in your most comfy clothes, eating food you know you'll regret eating later but O!M!G! it’s so good right now, gasping in shock as you see your favorite character that was killed 3 years ago suddenly show up alive and ready for revenge! And just when you think you are totally caught up on what’s happened you’re thrown a cliffhanging plot shift and the network has the audacity to go to commercial! That’s me. |
Interests | Reading anything about Narcolepsy that I can get my hands on, writing and reading fiction, camping, cooking. |
