Introduction	I have lived on this little blue island (Austin) in a sea of red (Texas) most of my life. My values and political leanings reflect this. I identify with ideals of and have cast votes for all parties currently represented in our government. My biggest concern is the environment. Maybe this stems from the fact that I am a mother of three amazing children. I want the future to be beautiful and clean for them and their children. I believe with my whole heart if we could focus on the future of our water, air and land, we would find a great deal of peace and unity. I hope learning more about my countries government can help me find new ways to fight for my children's future.
