| Introduction | Well, you already know most of my interests, (if you've read my profile), so I guess I'll just say I'm 29, though on a good day I feel about 18, lol. I have the most AMAZING soon to be 6 year old son in the world. He has autism, and while I'm teaching him about life, he is teaching me more than I ever thought I didn't know, lol. He progresses daily in leaps and bounds, and gives me a lot of patience, hope, and more joy than I've ever felt in my life or even knew was possible. I decided to start a blog because I'd like to be able to share pics, updates, and thoughts with friends and family, other parents of autistic children, other people who are into beauty, and saving money, and crafts, and celebrity gossip, and fashion faux pas... I have lots of thoughts, and I'm a total smartass, so hopefully, you will laugh a lot while you are here!! |
| Interests | I have many... anything to do with my son, doing makeup, and doing updo's on hair (self and friends, just for fun), reading - I love to read and I read all different kinds of books, TV and movies, the internet - I LOVE the internet, and I use it CONSTANTLY - I love youtube and I can't wait to start posting some vids - probably of my amazing child to start out with... music - love to listen, love to sing, crafting, learning to sew... I'm sure there's more... |
| Favorite Movies | Star Wars (all 6 episodes), Goodfellas, Boogie Nights, Drop Dead Gorgeous, The Sweetest Thing, Welcome To The Dollhouse, Royal Tennenbaums, National Lampoon's Vacation Movies, Scarface, I'm going to go out on a limb and say mostly comedy, but overall my taste is very eclectic. |
| Favorite Music | FAVORITE? I'm supposed to pick a favorite? I could never... let's keep it simple - I LOVE ALL MUSIC - from the 50's through today, every genre, from Dio to Duran Duran. Classic Rock, 80's hair band metal, gangsta rap, country... I even like some christian rock like Flyleaf, gospel music, doo wop, dance, EVERYTHING... |
| Favorite Books | As a general rule, I hate to be without a book to read, so I will read just about anything. My preferences are for romance novels, crime and forensics, I just read a really good book called I think Angels and Demons all about the Illuminati, I like Star Wars books, really anything that strikes my fancy. Not to be trendy, but I'm really into Jackie Collins and James Patterson right now... Anything that looks interesting, and preferably something that will take me longer than 2 days to read! |
