| Introduction | One of the highlights of my life came about on 6th Sep 2006 when I was named as the world's 1st Buzan Mentor by Tony Buzan, the Inventor of Mind Maps, at an evening gathering of Buzan Licensed Instructors (BLI) that was organised by Dr. Henry Toi, the MD n Master Buzan Trainer of Buzan Asia. My interests in Mind Mapping came after I attended a Radiant Thinking course conducted by Mun Sang, my immediate boss in Ngee Ann Poly in June 1996. I was amazed at how effective MMs could be applied in areas such as, planning, organising, discussing over a problem or issue, note making, note taking and many more. Naturally I took on additional certified BLI training in the area of Mind Mapping and Mental Literacy from the Buzan Centres in UK and USA as well as attended the world's first iMindMap Certification course in 2007 conducted by Chris Griffiths, currently the CEO of ThinkBuzan. The iMindMap certification course updated me on yet, another marvelous MM software in addition to the Mind Manager software that I have been using for many years. I have since, used mind maps in many aspects of my work, life and thinking. Enjoy yourself. |
