| Introduction | I live in Wisconsin and have been teaching for nearly 20 years...much of it in first grade, but also third, fourth and sixth grades. I have a Masters in Reading, have been a Reading Specialist, a university instructor and independent literacy consultant. BUT, my heart is truly in the classroom!! Teaching first grade is my current role and I am just so thankful to have a job that I truly love and am so blessed to be the mom of my son and daughter. They're 8 and 4 and they keep us on our toes, for sure! I began this blog as a way to give back to the amazing education community and to more explicitly reflect on my teaching.
