Introduction	I am a Human Resources and Management consultant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. When I go to parties and tell people that I work in Human Resources, I usually get the eye roll followed by a story or two about how bad their HR department is. When I started my own Human Resources consulting firm, one of my friends actually suggested that I not use the term "Human Resources" when describing what I do because most business owners have had bad experiences with HR. My goal is to help HR departments become a truly value added part of a company. Hopefully, that will get all of us in the profession invited to the fun parties.
Interests	With several company turnarounds under my belt, I've found that I really enjoy - and am good at - facilitating cultural change in companies. I've had responsibility for Human Resources for 20+ years, but have had other assignments in addition that have helped round out my business perspective. Those have included: Accounting - 8 years, Environmental, Health and Safety - 12 years, Purchasing - 5 years, and Business Planning - 3 years
